Beginnings The Monsters & The Strangerz is a production/writing group rising from sunny South Florida. The Monsters were first created in 2008 when Stefan Johnson the engineer of the group met then Hip-Hop artist/writer Alexander “Xplicit” Izquierdo while engineering a session for him. Xplicit a Miami bred artist had been working on his artistry before meeting Johnson, building a solid buzz in the city with records like "WE GET MO" which played on local radio stations. At the same time Johnson, an SAE graduate was becoming an in demand engineer working with major artist like Rick Ross, Pitbull and Diddy. Johnson then brought his brother and producer Jordan Johnson into the team and The Monsters were born. The Strangerz on the other hand met through a mutual friend in high school in early 2005. Since then producers/songwriters Marcus “Marc Lo” Lomax and Clarence Coffee Jr have built a creative bond between them that is undeniable. Lomax, the son of a pastor is a multi-instrumentalist that began his musical journey in his father's church band. While "Coffee" the son of a Gospel singer grew up perfecting his vocals and melodies after being inspired by his family's passion for music.

The session was a success and become the start of the group's creative partnership.
